Divisons of Play

South Ottawa Little League includes divisions for boys and girls ages 5 to 18 in baseball and Girls ages 5 to 17 in softball. For information on each division, see the list below.

BlastBall – ages 4 to 6 (May 1, 2003 – April 30, 2006)
- Plays Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. at Hutton or Canterbury diamonds.
Coach Pitch – ages 7 to 8 (May 1, 2001 – April 30, 2003)
- Plays Mondays and Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m., and some Saturday mornings at Hutton or Canterbury diamonds.
Minors – ages 9 to 10 (May 1, 1999 – April 30, 2001)
- Plays Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:00 p.m., and some Saturday mornings at Kilborn, Atwell, or Pauline Vanier 2 diamonds.
Majors – ages 11 to 12 (May 1, 1997 – April 30, 1999)
- Plays Mondays and Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m., and some Saturday mornings at Kilborn, Atwell, or Pauline Vanier 2 diamonds.
Juniors – ages 13 to 14 (May 1, 1995 – April 30, 1997)
- Plays twice a week, Monday to Thursday at 6:00 p.m. at Ron Milks and Southgate diamonds. May play an interlock schedule with other Leagues in Ottawa East.
Seniors – ages 15 to 16 (May 1, 1993 – April 30, 1995)
- Plays twice a week (one home and one away game) against other Leagues in Ottawa East, Mondays to Thursdays, with some Sunday evening games. Home diamonds are Ron Milks and Southgate diamonds. Games times are at 6:00 PM or 8:30 PM.
Big League – ages 17 to 18 (May 1, 1991 – April 30, 1993)
- The Big League Division is run on a district wide basis. Each league may enter one or more teams into the schedule. The Big League season runs from May to the end of August.
Major Softball – ages 9 to 12 (May 1, 1997 – April 30, 2001)
- Plays against teams from Glebe Little League and Carleton-Russell Little League. Home games are Tuesdays or Thursdays at 6:00 p.m. at either Greenboro or Weston Park.
Junior / Senior Softball – ages 13 to 17 (May 1, 1992 – April 30, 1997)
- Plays against teams from Glebe Little League and Carleton-Russell Little League. Home games are Mondays or Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m. at either Greenboro or Weston Park.
